Lace Up & Get More Money.
There’s a story about a backup quarterback who was discouraged because he never got to play. It got to the point that he didn’t even lace up his shoes because, well, what was the point.
Suddenly, the star quarterback was injured and the backup was in the spotlight, but he tripped running onto the field because he wasn’t ready.
Can’t say that about Amanda Sanchez. This woman, who came to us from the University of Utah, has worked as hard as most Richter7 – and more diligently than a lot would think, coming in early, grinding it out until late hours.
That meant that she absorbed more, learned more, was involved more and, when an opening came to promote someone, she was the natural choice.
Everybody wins.
The crazy coincidence is Amanda even runs absurd numbers of miles daily/weekly (for fun?!) AND she’s learned to lace up properly just in case because as she puts it, “You never know.” (Well, she didn’t Actually say that, but she would.)
Here’s the official notice.
Richter7, a Salt Lake City-based advertising and public relations agency, promoted Amanda Sanchez to public relations account manager.
Hired in 2009 as PR account coordinator, Sanchez has experience in media and community relations, event coordination, social media, and the concept and development of many grassroots and guerilla PR campaigns.
The new position will give Sanchez more responsibility when leading projects for clients such as Questar, Zions Bank, Polynesian Cultural Center, Dairy Farmers of Utah and Ultradent.
“Amanda’s dedication, originality and expertise have led to her promotion as account manager,” said Tim Brown, Richter7 partner.
