WAVE Goodbye

Just eight short months after being announced at Google’s I/O conference and three months after being released to the general public, online software application Google Wave will be discontinued come January.

According to Google VP Urs Hölzle, Wave has not seen the user adoption it would have liked, but its technology will likely be extended to other Google projects in the coming years.
